Filling My Cup with Spring Break Reflections, Nap-Trap Online Browsing, and a Flash Sale for Quiet Your Mind Journal (!)
Happy Friday from sunny Florida! We are headed back now and I am really crossing my fingers for a smoother trip home because wowww flying with an 18-month-old is *something*. I really love this age so much and it is so much fun, but I can confidently say that flying is not an enjoyable experience at this age. We had so much fun on this Spring Break trip, but I also am ready to get back to some normalcy and routine (and, to be honest, reunite with our nanny). The highlight of this trip, if you haven’t been able to tell yet, was our Disney trip. Since the moment we got home I have been trying to spark a conversation with Joe about planning another one and he keeps looking at me like “can you chill for maybe just a minute??” (fair). But seriously it was so much fun and everything I could’ve dreamed of and more and I am a full-blown Disney mom and I cannot wait to return!!! If you’re thinking about going soon with young kids, I wrote a (very) lengthy recap you can reference!
The Disney Recap
So I officially am (re)obsessed with Disney World?? It’s funny because I have always been ecstatic to take my kids to Disney one day as I have such incredible memories of our family trips as a kid, but some of my friends having been texting me that this is all very “off-brand” and I have continued to remind them that my favorite part of motherhood is leaning into the childlike wonder and joy and feeling like a kid again and Disney is the ultimate place to do so. Plus, if there is one thing about me, it is that I am going to lean all the way into things if my kid’s love them (hence us staying at a Cars themed hotel). Overall, this trip was such a core memory for our family and I am already excited for the next time we go and brainstorming how to make it possible. I never imagined I’d be a Disney adult, but here I am as a full-blown Disney-loving-mom.

What I’m Watching -
Studio - Ok this is actually more of a what I *stopped* watching because my anxiety simply couldn’t handle it. It reminded me a bit of the angst I felt in Uncut Gems where everything just felt so fast and people were yelling and I have enough anxiety in my life I don’t like watching things that make me more anxious. That being said, everyone else in my life is loving it!
What I’m Reading -
The God of the Woods - I promised myself I would take a mini romance novel break and I am still trying to get through this book 4 weeks later!!!! I know work and life has picked up a bit, but I am usually reading 1-2 books a week so this feels like forever for me, but I just fall asleep so quickly. I am enjoying it thus far, but I’ll save the final review for once I’m done!
What I’m Wearing -
Abercrombie Dresses - these are no longer on sale, but I am loving some recent Abercrombie dresses that I got! This linen-blend dress that gives Tuscany vibes (IMO), this linen-blend strapless dress that I will be wearing all summer and Lucy is already asking to borrow for her honeymoon, this blue slip mini, and this workout dress that I’m obsessed with. All have built in shorts!!

Nap-Trapped Online Window Browsing - I was recently nap-trapped and caught myself window-shopping online and saw a few things I am loving for this summer! AR add a carousel of the images

Workout Set - I have these biker shorts and sports bras in so many different color variations because I truly just love them so much and they are the perfect fit / style for me
Week’s Round of 365 Days of Dressing for Me
What I’m Loving -
Jones Road Just Enough Tinted Moisturizer - I’ve been lovvvinnggg this new product (I’ve been using it for awhile now but haven’t been able to post about it.) It’s definitely lightweight but has the perfect amount of coverage (but doesn’t cover my freckles or feel cake-y) so I feel put together when I want to do a quick makeup routine to last me through the day. It easily goes on with your fingers but I honestly use their “skin brush” to put it on and it’s perfect.
Weekender Tote - I was recently lent this bag and I have not stopped using it since. I think I am going to need to purchase for myself versus return it because I love it so much
What I’m Writing About/Journaling -

The pictures from the photoshoot are so good I am so excited to share them all with you soon! I’m in a giving mood so FOR ONE DAY ONLY you all will get 10% off the first edition!! Use code SUBSTACK and order by tonight at 11:59PM EST to take advantage of the sale!! This should give you just enough time to use and finish the first edition before your second edition can arrive!
What My Family is Loving -
DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!! Duh.
Lion Guard - we have entered a new Lion King phase, which apparently includes even the mini spinoff series on Disney Channel
Affirmations - I was recently filming a morning vlog and caught my older son doing his morning affirmations with me and it absolutely melted my heart. It is never too early or too late to start!
How I’m Filling My Cup - My family time. I am depleted and exhausted and feel like I’m 10,000 steps behind with all aspects of my life, but I got in some quality time with my boys and that will always be my priority and I just keep reminding myself of that when I feel overwhelmed by all of the other things I have to do.
You look amazing!! 1-2 books a week? Goals
Omg phones making noise is a hard pass for me!
