Filling My Cup with Logging off for Christmas, Meal Subscriptions, and Putting Myself Out There at Industry Events
It’s officially holiday break for me and I am SO freaking excited!!!!!! It is so embarrassingly hard for me to step away from work (because my brain feels near impossible to shut off and I love my job and it’s so intertwined with my life), but the time away to relax, step away from technology, and fully enjoy the time with my children and family is so incredibly important to me and therefore why I prioritize this time off annually. Although we have podcast episodes and content set to go live on the backend, I will be fully offline from posting and from consuming content and I am legitimately giddy about it. We are having a casual Christmas here and then heading to Florida with my entire immediate family for the week. I am beyond stressed about the idea of packing and a flight with a baby at this age who is never not moving, but cannot wait for the warm weather and sunshine. Reminder that there will not be a Filling Your Cup segment for the next 2 weeks!!! I love and appreciate you all so much for all of the support this year and cannot wait to see what 2025 has in store for us!!

Dating in Your Thirties, Navigating Relationships as a Highly Sensitive Person, and Healing Chronic Pain with Elizabeth Endres
EP 275: In this episode, I sit down with Elizabeth Endres to discuss her journey with physical and emotional wellness, being a highly sensitive person, and how she has navigated dating in her thirties versus her twenties. We talk about the different roles our friends play in our lives, how being highly sensitive has benefited her and created challenges …
What I’m Watching - I am in such a TV slump and honestly have zero interest in it lately. If anyone has any recommendations, please send them my way!
What I’m Listening To -
2000s Hip Hop Bangers - some people hate throwback 2000s music, some people love it, and I am adamant about the latter. This playlist has been on repeat in our car and seriously raises the vibe
Not Skinny But Not Fat - As a recent fan of Claire Holt’s after my The Vampires Diary binge 2 years ago, I loved hearing more from her!
What I’m Reading -
Glimmers of You - Safe to say I have just fully leaned in to this Lost and Found series as this is book 3 and I now believe I live in Cedar Ridge in my alternate reality. This one follows the sister of the family (Grae) and close family friend (Caden) and their evolving love story. It ties in more of the murder/mystery vibe that is a trend in this series (I will never understand how a small town has so much crime) and plays more into the “enemies turned lovers” plotline
I’m not necessarily reading this, but a lot of you are. I have never received such positive feedback on a Mom’s Musings and it is clear we need to do a pt 2 of the old episode on this topic!
Overstimulation & anxiety induced anger and my 5 tips for working through the rage
·I put up a question box on Instagram the other day asking for some Mom’s Musings topic requests and a lot were focused on the holiday season, the extra mental load a mom takes on during it all, setting boundaries, and prioritizing “me time” during the madness. Since I am currently typing this while sitting at my parent’s apartment before their holiday party and having a
What I’m Wearing -
Cream Sweater Set - I wore this to my family’s caroling party and felt so comfortable and so chic - my dream!
Mock-neck Sweatshirt - I recently was gifted this Anine Bing sweatshirt after eyeing it for awhile in red and I love the mockneck so much. It is super comfortable and has me feeling like I’m in my sweats but the cut of it still feels stylish
Navy pinstripe Trousers - I wore these pants in DC and have been dreaming of wearing them again. They are so incredibly soft and comfortable and look insanely chic (according to Ilana Glazer too!). The cinched waist line and pleating is chef’s kiss. Plus it comes with a matching blazer!
Last Minute Holiday Outfits - I know we’re racing to Christmas, but incase you have any events this weekend or next week (and need a last minute outfit) Shopbop is the best because they have fast 1-2 day shipping. I did a big pull of outfit inspo, and threw in some cozy sets for you to wear on Christmas morning! You can shop ALL (and more) in the link above.
What I’m Eating -
Welcome Home Meal Subscription - I was recently gifted this meal delivery service for the week and I am blown away by how delicious it is. The korean beef curry bowls were freaking INSANE (everyone in my family loved them). I’m always looking for options to order for my family but also for friends during stressful times (especially after birth) and this is an amazing option for us tri-state people!
What My Family is Loving -
Busy Book - In an effort to work on our fine motor skills, this book was recommended by my toddler’s teacher and we are loving it. It has so many different things for him to play with and grasp and clip and do all of the things that improve and foster those skills
Silly Science - Similarly, I found this toy when looking for ones that encourage and improve fine motor skills and it has been so fun for him to play with! He loves the “mad scientist” idea of it all and has already immensely improved with the tweezer side of things

How I’m Filling My Cup - Socializing with other people in my industry at events and meeting some big time celebs!! Never in a million years did I think I’d be bumping shoulders and chatting with icons like Martha Stewart or Ilana Glazer, but here we are! It has been such a fun recent bonus of my job and I am thrilled at the opportunity to be in their orbit. Plus, what a freaking thrill it is to hand them a product that I made and watch them leave with it in their hands! Here’s to hoping a lot of A-list celebs are doing some adult coloring affirmations in 2025
No Good Deed on Netflix was great. Lisa Kudrow is in it
Watch The Jetty (a mystery/drama) on Britbox and Hulu. It’s only four episodes so not a huge commitment. Jenna Coleman, the lead, is great.
