Why I love blending my friend groups and how I think I successfully do it

As I sit on the plane coming home from our couples trip (sans kids) to the Dominican Republic, I am filled with gratitude for the friendships I’ve formed over my lifetime and the amazing people I have the privilege of surrounding myself with. I feel like I talk about this often on my socials and it is probably obvious if you follow me there, but my female friendships are one of the most important things in this world to me. Quite honestly, I think they are one of the top priorities and things I cherish right after my family. I have always been someone who has been surrounded by incredibly supportive, encouraging, fun, and wonderful women and it is truly one of the greatest gifts of life. I also am someone who is incredibly loyal and understands that a relationship is a two-way street and, like anything, it takes nurturing and effort to flourish. Because of that, I’ve been blessed to maintain many friendships over the years and, simultaneously, make new ones as I’ve gotten older. Whether it is my best friend from second grade or my new mom friend that I’ve made in my town, I am constantly pouring into these cups because I deeply value the importance of female friendships. Another thing about me is that if you are my friend, I want to introduce you to all of my other friends and I then want you two to become friends.
