LA Families of Young Kids in Need - fill out the form and monitor the spreadsheet to find where to donate
Good morning everyone. I didn’t feel pulled to write anything regarding motherhood that felt substantial enough to share with everything currently going on in LA and the mass devastation we are seeing, so instead I wanted to highlight something I put together to help families in need with young children. I’ve been getting a ton of DMs from people who are looking to donate gently used or unopened baby products (pumps, bottles, formula, etc), clothing, and toys and I want to hopefully help people match with those in need. SO, if you are looking to donate or a family in need, please see below and please share with as many people as you can!!
IF YOU ARE A FAMILY WITH YOUNG KIDS IN NEED - please fill out THIS form (as detailed as possible) and put your IG to public so that people can DM you!
IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO DONATE - please continue to check back in on THIS spreadsheet and monitor whether there are families in need of supplies you have available to give. If so, please DM the person and confirm that they are in need and where the best place is for you to ship them to.
Other places to donate that I want to highlight:
California Fire Foundation - Provides critical support to surviving families of fallen firefighters, firefighters, and the communities they serve
Baby2Baby - Helping get essentials to children in need
LeGreatOutdoor - You can send a meal to firefighter or first responder - they are sending meals 2x daily
World Central Kitchen - Providing meals to those impacted by the fires
Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation - Equipping firefighters with tools and supplies to contain the infernos
Help Clean The Palisades GoFundMe -A GoFundMe directly helping to clean up the affected areas of the Palisades. Funds will be used for supplies and a portion will also go towards the LAFD.
Shop Pickle - Is coordinating LA clothing donations. You can donate or sign up to receive support through them.
I love you all and am forever grateful for this community and everyone’s eagerness to help
