First Trimester Survival Guide
My top suggestions for surviving the nausea, headaches, and never ending exhaustion
For all my pregnant people (especially those pregnant for the first time), this one is for you. Firstly, congratulations!!!! I’m super excited for you. Secondly, I wish I could make your symptoms go away. I get asked a lot, specifically in my DMs, how to “survive” the first trimester. People are always wondering if there is a secret magical pill that will somehow subside the nausea, anxiety, exhaustion, and any of the other 10,000 symptoms that come with this 3-month window. Trust me, I wish I had that pill to give you and any of the other pregnant people struggling to survive this window of time. Whoever invents this may just become the richest person on this planet (and my personal hero). While I don’t have that to offer, I do have some suggestions for what helped me (and some of my friends that I’ve polled) get to the other side of the hump and enter the “honeymoon” phase of pregnancy.
*Heads up, this is not at all meant to scare anyone or fear monger. Everyone’s pregnancy is very different, so there is always a chance you are one of the chosen one who simply coast through pregnancy and never experience any of these things. If that is you, I’m envious and beyond excited for you!!! For the people who were like me and felt like shit majority of their pregnancy, this is to hopefully help you*
