Summer is in full swing and I'm elevating my everyday outfits, spending more time in the kitchen, and sharing lots of recs from this past week with you all!
Happy Friday, my friends! I'm off on a "mom and son adventure" with my toddler, and I couldn't be more excited!! One of my close college friends is taking a group of us (+ our kids) to her beach house in LBI. Since Joe has plans on Saturday, I'm flying solo. Initially, I thought about bringing both boys, but managing it alone (especially considering our baby doesn’t sleep well outside the house) seemed daunting. So, I'm taking this chance to have some one-on-one time with my toddler. I'm not sure who's more thrilled, him or me. This week flew by and was quite busy, so let's dive in…

Summer House - I'm still catching up and it's taking forever! I'm behind on my watchlist (DCC doc, The Bear, and more) but determined to finish Summer House. Season 7 feels slow and I'm not connecting with the newcomers but I heard Season 8 is the best so I'm pushing through. Bravo aficionados, can you help answer these questions…
How do they stay in the same outfit for the "confessionals" all season? Are they all done in one take?
Do they get approached by fans often? I feel like popped off after Season 3 and probably get recognized a lot going out in the Hamptons.
How do they go out so frequently, stay up so late, and drink so much?! I'm 32 and just one late night gives me a hangover (and I’m not even consuming alcohol)!!
We Ride at Dawn - Speaking of Summer House, Hannah Berner's new Netflix special is out and it's fantastic! I thought it was hilarious (and spot-on)… just like an extended Giggly Squad episode.

Freckled Foodie Returns - Dare I say Freckled Foodie is making a comeback?! I’m back in the kitchen and enjoying sharing with you all. This week, I made quesadillas, my go-to lunch, and fajita bowls.
What I’m Loving
Agolde Shorts - Lucy wore these at the beach and I fell in love. Usually, this brand doesn’t fit me well, but that is not the case with these shorts. I'm really into looser, longer jean shorts right now and these are my new favorite pair.
Colorful Necklace - I was gifted this Spicy Dan necklace and adore it. As someone who wears the same jewelry everyday, this is a fun piece to add a pop of color or switch things up. My toddler has already asked to wear it about 100 times.
Mara Sea Kale Sunscreen - When I was in LA, I went out to dinner with my friend Paige and Allison, the founder of Mara. Paige was raving about this sunscreen and Allison generously gave us a few bottles. I have been hooked ever since. It gives you such a natural glow that you don’t need to wear makeup. Plus, I love the company’s mission.
Boxer Pants - I've gushed about the boxer short trend, but these pants take it up a notch. They're easy to throw on, style up, and dash out the door. Plus, they're super light for this sweltering heat.
Getting Dressed (kinda?) - I'm putting more effort into getting dressed and filming it for you all on TikTok. These are a few fits I’ve worn recently:

What My Family is Loving
Mud Kitchen - I'm amazed by the talent and creativity of FF Fam members. Christen messaged me about building a ‘mud kitchen’ for my boys… and I am absolutely blown away by the result. It’s more than perfect. Beautifully done, matches our garage, and the boys adore it. If you are in the PA/NJ area, I cannot recommend her enough!!
Outdoor Water Play - I'm determined to raise '90s kids—outside, active, and loving summer. I set up a blanket outside with water play options for each kid. I loved just lounging and watching. Our toddler ran through the garden sprinkler while our baby played with this Lovery Kit toy.
Sonos - Recently installed in our kitchen, hangout room, backyard, and front patio, Sonos speakers have transformed our home. Unlimited dance parties and grill jams on repeat over here.
How I’m Filling My Cup
Helping Friends - I love nothing more than showing up for the people in my life who I love and care about. One of my best friends just had her first child and I am so grateful to show up for her. It lights me the f up. I often get asked what to give new parents so I put together this post that includes a helpful text idea to lighten their load.
Loved your video on what to give a friend PP! As a 2nd time mom I needed the same and now get it! But I didn’t get it when my friends were doing it first! This video needs to be viral and everyone needs to know!
