Filling My Cup with My Little Sister's Bach, Lobbying in D.C. with March Fourth, and A Newfound Love for Early Morning Walks
Hello from Lucy’s bachelorette!!! I’m writing this all out on my flight down to the Dominican Republic to celebrate my little sister, Lucy’s, bachelorette!! It has been quite the planning journey for this group of 18 girls and I am crossing my fingers (please also cross yours) that everything goes off smoothly. Either way, I am excited!! I promise I will do an in-depth recap somewhere afterwards! Other than that, it has been a busy week (honestly month??), so let’s get into it…

Celebrating the 300th Episode with Reflections on Motherhood and my Mom Tips, Tricks, and Hacks
·In the 300th episode, I reflect on 4 years of motherhood and share the tips, tricks, and hacks I've learned. From creating magic in everyday moments to handling big emotions, I discuss my 90s-inspired parenting style and how I’ve been navigating the challenges of raising two toddlers. I also reveal my favorite mom hack that's a game-changer for bedtime …
What I’m Watching -
Ransom Canyon - A lot of you are binging this also and I love this shared experience for us! I’m only a few episodes in, but it is clear this is a very “me” show based on my romance novel reading. Minka Kelly is the female lead (who I loveeee) and it basically follows a few different storylines (mostly romance-led) within a ranch town. Think Yellowstone meets one of my cheesy romance novels.
What I’m Listening To -
Lucy’s Bachelorette Playlist - I am loving this playlist that her friends made so listen along and feel like you’re on the trip with us!
What I’m Reading -
NY Times piece on young wellness influencers - This piece was of interest to me because I’m fascinated (and terrified) by the wellness → MAHA → MAGA pipeline and I have fears of the infiltration it will have of our younger generation. I’m slightly embarrassed to admit that I fear I would’ve fallen for all of it during my orthorexic and obsessive days and that scares me so much for our youth (specifically females.)

Cam's Core Closet: May '25
·Welcome back to the series within Mom’s Musings - Cam’s Core Closet! This version is a bit of a transition to spring because we are finally enjoying some gorgeous weather and summer is so close I can taste it!!!! This is the fourth version of a monthly edition (on the first Monday of every month) where I pick out some pieces that
Sweat Set: I’ve now traveled in these sweatpants and this sweatshirt twice over the past 2 weeks and I absolutely love it for a cozy, comfortable, and still put-together plane fit (Cindy’s beige travel suit is crying reading this.)
Brown Suit that Survived Pant-gate: If you followed along with my recent DC trip you know that I spilled my smoothie all over my pants on the way to the train station. By some miracle (and a pair of leggings that allowed me to take them off and soak them in the sink and a dyson hand dryer) these pants survived and still looked acceptable for the meetings! Plus they looked super cute with this matching vest for a little suit moment.
Slouchy Socks: This is so random, but I am obsessed with these socks because they have a little slouchiness to them, which I think gives a very cute (Gen-Z) look.

What I’m Loving -
This lube - Lol shock factor HI! But you all went ham for the vibrator I posted recently so I wanted you to also know that this product exists and it’s amazing #NordstromPartner
Volunteering - I went to DC this week to lobby Republican Senators in hopes of having them cosign the Bump Act to end mass shootings and I left feeling surprisingly hopeful. It was my first time on the hill under this new administration and I am pleased to say that it feels like this is something majority of Americans (from both parties) and politicians can get behind. If you want to get involved PLEASE sign the petition HERE and check out their website for more volunteer opportunities!

What My Family is Loving -
Lion Guard - For any fellow Lion King loving families, this show has become a recent obsession. It’s a Disney series featuring Simba’s kids and their crew who protect the pride-lands.
How I’m Filling My Cup - Morning walks with Charlie. Joe has historically owned this task ever since we moved to the suburbs but now that the weather is nice out I’ve been switching off with him and it is such a nice way to start my mornings. I go out with my cup of coffee and play Taylor Swift from my phone and we enjoy a leisurely walk with no fear of reactivity from Charlie because it’s 6AM and the streets are primarily empty.
Have the best trip! Make all the memories! Congratulations on 300 episodes! So proud and grateful for all the conversations that have been in my ears over the years! 💙 love all the looks and you inspire me everyday!
